Homeowner Unharmed After SUV Crashes Into South Dallas Home

An SUV crashed into a house Saturday morning in South Dallas, leaving a gaping hole but no reported injuries. Police and fire rescue crews were called about 10 a.m. Saturday to the 500 block of Kirnwood Drive.KXAS-TV (NBC5) reports that the woman living there was in her bedroom when the SUV crashed into the house. She heard a "big boom" and thought there was an explosion."It's just a blessing to be alive," Clemestene Dallas told NBC5. "I could have been sitting right there on the sofa, and it could've been my life."Police have not released any details about what led to the crash or what became of the driver.  Continue reading...
