Homeowner Helps Chase 3 Men Who Shot Paintballs at Houses in Cockrell Hill Area

A trio's attempt to lob paintballs at houses in the Cockrell Hill area backfired after the homeowner of one of the houses chased the suspects and helped police arrest them.The three men are suspected of shooting paintballs at a house in Cockrell Hill and a house in another part of Dallas County late Sunday. The owner of the house in Cockrell Hill chased the suspects' SUV until police took over.Dallas police helped Cockrell Hill police with the chase, which ended around midnight near the intersection of Sunnyside Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard in Cockrell Hill.Officers found drug paraphernalia in the car, police said.
