A 17-year-old high school student was arrested after he took a gun to El Centro College and posted a picture of him with it on social media. Aron Cervantes faces a felony charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon in a place where weapons are prohibited. The teen posted a photo on Snapchat last week of him holding a gun in a stairwell at the Dr. Wright L. Lassiter Jr. Early College High School in El Centro College in downtown. A student reported Cervantes to a teacher on Friday, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
