The summer heat is not letting up. High temperatures this weekend are forecast to reach the upper-90s and even 100s in some areas of North Texas, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston. “It’s going to stay hot,” Johnston said, adding that a weather pattern typical for this time of the year keeps hanging on.
