Here’s How Hot It Will Feel Thursday, With Dallas-Fort Worth Under a Heat Advisory

Just in time for the seasons to officially change Friday, summer heat has arrived in Dallas-Fort Worth.The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the region through 8 p.m. Thursday. The advisory includes Dallas and Tarrant counties, but not Denton or Collin counties.Temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 90s — some of the highest of the year so far — but it will feel much hotter, with heat index values above 105, said KXAS-TV (NBC5) weather anchor Keisha Burns.“Be sure to protect yourself and be safe out in the heat today,” Burns said.  Continue reading...
