Here Come's Another Big Temperature Drop for Dallas-Fort Worth

Another round of cooler temperatures is expected to blow into Dallas-Fort Worth this weekend and it'll bring with it a chance for storms. The main threat for severe weather is Friday, but it is likely to be further east. North Texas will see a low risk, KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Rick Mitchell said. That threat could mean the possibility of strong winds, hail and a tornado or two for East Texas. If Dallas-Fort Worth does see storms, don't expect them to be widespread or severe, Mitchell said. The best chance will be early Friday afternoon, but there is a chance for storms in the morning. After Thursday's warm and windy weather, temperatures will likely drop again. Highs Saturday and Sunday likely won't make it out of the 60s, and though it won't be as cold as last weekend, Sunday's low is forecast to be 39 degrees.  Continue reading...
