Heavy Rain, Damaging Winds and Hail Could Hit Dallas-Fort Worth on Saturday

Rain in North Texas is likely to dampen outdoor plans this weekend — but the weather may do worse than that.“Late tonight into early Saturday morning, strong thunderstorms are most likely. Some severe cells as well will be marching eastward in our direction,” KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston said.Heavy rain could hit Dallas-Fort Worth early Saturday, most likely between 7 and 11 a.m., he said.The Storm Prediction Center estimated Friday that all of North Texas faces a slight risk for severe weather this weekend.
