Heart Attack Claims Dallas Cop Who Led Fellow Motor Jockeys ‘from the Front'

Fellow Dallas cops saw Senior Cpl. Chris Gilliam as a “shining example” of a community police officer, born and raised in a city he went on to serve as an adult.The motor jockey, who had just helped lay a fellow Dallas police officer to rest on Friday, died later that day of a heart attack. He was 54.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Pointe Church at 701 East Interstate 30 in Rockwall, and the public is welcome to attend.   Continue reading...
