Wise County firefighters found themselves busy with a grass fire that consumed some 30 acres near Boyd around 10 p.m. Tuesday.A large field caught fire near County Road 4590 and quickly grew, officials from the Wise County Emergency Services District said. Firefighters from Rhome, Aurora, Cottondale and Paradise helped bring the blaze under control before it could reach homes. No one was injured.Boyd is about 30 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
