Grapevine Car Thief Targets Food Delivery Driver, Police Say

Grapevine police are reminding delivery drivers to lock their car doors after a man's vehicle was stolen as he dropped off pizza at an apartment Sunday.The driver had left his car key in the ignition while he went to a door in the Royal St. Moritz complex in the 2000 block of Grayson Drive. When he remembered he'd left something in the vehicle, he turned around and saw a man driving away.The thief, who crashed the car and fled on foot, was described as a 5-foot-10 black man with long dreadlocks, a red shirt and black shorts.A second person may have been involved in the crime, but police do not have a description, police spokeswoman Amanda McNew said.The apartment resident told police that earlier Sunday, Chinese food had been delivered that was not ordered.   Continue reading...
