Got an Amazon Package? A Local Whole Foods Has New Way for Pickups, Returns

Amazon shoppers in the Dallas area now have a new way to pick up packages and drop off returns at a local Whole Foods: They can get their online purchases at a desk staffed by associates or from self-service kiosks. The new service is available at the Addison store, which is 5100 Belt Line Road.The new pickup and drop-off option is the latest example of how Amazon is combining its online retail business with its Whole Foods stores. Amazon bought the Austin-based grocer for $13.7 billion in 2017. Since then, the e-commerce giant has added its own touches to the grocery store, such as offering special sales prices to Amazon Prime members. Some stores have Amazon Lockers, a self-service cubby that holds a package for up to three days and unlocks when customers punch in a code.   Continue reading...
