Good Works Under 40 Winner to Be Named Thursday

Five of Dallas' business and civic leaders under age 40 have been named finalists for the Good Works Under 40 award, organized by The Dallas Foundation and The Dallas Morning News to highlight young activists working to change the city's future.This year's recipient of the $10,000 donation to a nonprofit of his or her choice will be announced Thursday. The other finalists will each receive $3,500 for their charities.For the first time in the award's eight-year history, one of the finalists will be honored with the People's Choice Award, which will mean an additional $1,000 for their charity.Stephanie Giddens  Continue reading...
