Golden Chick Employee Fired for Refusing to Serve Dallas Police Officer

A Golden Chick employee has been fired after refusing to serve a Dallas police officer at a central Oak Cliff store. A southwest patrol sergeant told KTVT-TV (Channel 11) that when he went to order lunch from the Kiest Bouelvard location of the fast food chain Thursday, an employee said they did not serve his kind at the restaurant. When the officer asked what he meant, the employee reportedly reiterated that they do not serve police, the station reported. Golden Chick Store Director Ike Ugokwe told the station he can see all the years of goodwill the store has worked to build up falling apart because of the comments of one employee.  Continue reading...
