General Motors to Bring 850 More Jobs to Arlington

General Motors says it will create more than 850 new jobs in Arlington by bringing work currently being done by its suppliers outside the United States.The automaker announced plans Friday to open a 'supplier park' across the highway from its Arlington plant, which makes Cheverolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade.The facility, on the site of the former Six Flags mall, will include two industrial manufacturing and warehouse buildings spanning more than 1.2 million square feet.
