Garland Shooting Leaves 22-year-old Man Dead, Two Teens Injured

Garland police are investigating a shooting early Monday that killed a 22-year-old man and injured two teens, ages 13 and 15.Officers responded to a call at about 3:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Mosswood Court. They found a 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at a Plano hospital. He has not been publicly identified.The teen is believed to be in stable condition, said Garland police spokesman Alberto Irizarry.Investigators were told that a red car was involved in the shooting. While officers responded to the call on Mosswood Court, a patrol unit spotted a red car speeding eastbound on West Walnut Street and driving with its headlights off.Police stopped the car and found four people in it, including a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and is believed to be in stable condition, Irizarry said.Investigators are questioning the people in the red car, Irizarry said.No arrests have been announced as of Monday morning.  Continue reading...
