Garland Police Searching for Armed Man Who Robbed Gas Station in Longhorns Sweatshirt

Garland police have released images from a July 8 robbery in hopes of identifying the man who pointed a gun at the cashier.Police say the robber walked into the Conoco in the 3300 block of South Garland Avenue, near Leon Road, around 10:30 p.m. He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, then ran off.Surveillance footage from the incident shows a man in an orange Texas Longhorns hoodie, blue sweatpants, white socks and red Nike sandals holding a black and silver handgun and a wad of cash near the register.  Continue reading...
