Garland Police Respond to Barricaded Person With Weapon

Garland police are involved in a standoff with someone barricaded inside a home Wednesday morning.SWAT teams are at the 300 block of Joyce Drive. A Garland spokesman referred to the situation as "a disturbance with a weapon" and urged drivers to take alternate routes and avoid the area.No other information is available.
