Garland Convenience Store Clerk Killed During Robbery

Garland police are investigating the death of a convenience store clerk who was shot during a robbery late Wednesday night.Heng Lam, 30, was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and died there of his injuries, police said.The shooting occurred just before midnight at a store in the 4400 block of West Walnut Street, police said.No information about suspects was available.Anyone with information should contact the Garland Police Department at 972-485-4840.
