GameStop Is Shutting Down ThinkGeek.com and That Means 50% Off for Shoppers

GameStop's ThinkGeek.com is shutting down its online store and consolidating the products into existing GameStop and ThinkGeek retail locations, the company announced this week.ThinkGeek is fulfilling all orders placed until July 2, when ThinkGeek.com will be wrapped into GameStop.com. GameStop's retail stores will continue to carry the signature pop culture merchandise in dedicated ThinkGeek sections.ThinkGeek's brick-and-mortar locations will also remain open for now. The company has posted some answers to frequently asked questions on its site regarding its decision to consolidate the online store, but did not outline why ThinkGeek.com was shutting down.For shoppers, the consolidation means GameStop is placing all ThinkGeek.com items on sale for 50% off.
