Fundraiser Planned for Dallas Officers Who Were Badly Hurt in On-duty Crash

It's been a month and a half since a DWI crash left Officers Brandy Walling and Zach Perez so badly injured that they still haven't returned to work.The officers were hospitalized with cuts that doctors had to close with sutures and staples, and one of them suffered a speech impediment as a result of the crash.Preston Pieratt, 24, faces a charge of driving while intoxicated.
