Frisco Police Arrest Teen in Package-theft Case, Seek Help Solving Another

Frisco police said Thursday that they had arrested a teenager in one package-theft case but were seeking the public's help to identify a suspect in another.Officers were called to Stanford Avenue and Chapel Creek Parkway around 3:15 a.m. Monday after a caller reported seeing a suspicious person. Around the same time, a vehicle burglary was reported at a nearby apartment complex.Police found Erick Gonzalez-Juarez, 17, and said he was carrying packages that had been reported as stolen.Gonzalez was charged with theft, failure to identify and being a minor in possession of tobacco. He was being held Thursday at the Collin County jail, and police say he is suspected in additional vehicle burglaries and package thefts.  Continue reading...
