Frisco Mixed-use Project Coming on the Tollway

A new mixed-use development in Frisco will bring office, retail and hotel construction to the Dallas North Tollway.The 31.5-acre World Cup Centre project is next door to the Toyota Soccer Center on World Cup Way. Frisco's planning and zoning commission has approved the project this week.The largest part of the new development will be a 5-story hotel.Three office buildings with more than 60,000 square feet and two restaurant and retail buildings with more than 10,000 square feet are also planned.The development will have two large plaza areas with a view of the soccer fields next door.The World Cup Centre project - owned by Plano-based North Preston 25 LLC - is just north of Frisco's town center development.The buildings in the project will complement the design in nearby Frisco Square, which takes designs from 19th century downtown buildings, according to the plan commission.  Continue reading...
