Fort Worth Woman Killed Girlfriend's Young Son, Then Said He Fell Off Bed, Police Say

A Fort Worth woman has been arrested on a charge of murdering her girlfriend's son nearly three months after the 2-year-old's death.Zahira Lavon Hill, 27, told officers that Saiden Robertson had fallen from his bed at the couple's apartment off Brentwood Stair Road on the morning of March 17, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.Hill said Saiden's mother had gone to work and she was taking a shower, then heard a loud noise followed by the boy crying, according to police. At first Saiden seemed OK, but then he lost consciousness, she said, so she put him under a cold shower and called 911. The boy died just after 1 p.m. at Cook Children's Medical Center.Investigators said Hill gave conflicting information to a 911 dispatcher, emergency responders and police.  Continue reading...
