Fort Worth Swears in Interim Police Chief After Former Chief's Firing

Ed Kraus was confirmed Tuesday evening as interim Fort Worth police chief at a special City Council session just over a week after former police Chief Joel Fitzgerald was fired.Kraus, who steps into the job with more than 26 years on the Fort Worth police force including in executive roles, said officer morale is "on the uptick," the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported."I want to keep that momentum," he said.
