Fort Worth Police Searching for Driver Who Fatally Struck Pedestrian Then Fled

A man who was crossing a Fort Worth street when a driver struck him and fled last month has died, police say.Police asked Tuesday that any witnesses to the June 28 crash that killed Hugh Doyle Walker come forward.Walker was crossing the 2500 block of West Seminary Drive, near McCart Avenue, when a vehicle struck him around 9:45 p.m.Officers said they don't have any information about the driver or vehicle involved.Walker, who police said was 64 years old and the Tarrant County medical examiner said was 55, died at John Peter Smith Hospital on Sunday.Anyone with information about the hit-and-run may call Fort Worth police at 817-392-4888.  Continue reading...
