Fort Worth Police Believe Suspects Were Involved in Shooting, Robbery After Not Getting Into Party

Police believe a group of guys were involved in a shooting and a robbery after not being allowed into a party in east Fort Worth overnight. Officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Norma Street, near East Lancaster Avenue and Oakland Boulevard, just after 2:20 a.m. Wednesday. They believe the suspects got into their vehicle after not being allowed into a nearby party, Fort Worth police spokesman Bradley Perez said. The group drove down the street and allegedly confronted a group of females who were walking. None of their ages have been released. The two groups got into an argument and shots were fired from the car, striking one person. She was transported to a hospital with a non-life-threatening wound to the leg. The guys fled the scene and robbed a place not far from the scene, Perez said. The suspects are not in custody.No other details are currently available.   Continue reading...
