Fort Worth Officer Seen Wrestling Mother to Ground in Viral Video Challenges Suspension

The white Fort Worth police officer who was suspended for 10 days for using excessive force when arresting a black woman and her daughters will appeal the suspension in a hearing Tuesday. Officer William Martin’s suspension could be overturned, upheld or modified in the disciplinary hearing, Fort Worth Civil Service Commission Secretary Monique Schomp said.
