Fort Worth Man Gets 33 Years for Sexually Assaulting Woman

A Tarrant County court sentenced a Fort Worth man to 33 years in prison for three counts of aggravated sexual assault Thursday.Bryon Troy Wells, 48, used the barrel of a gun to rape a woman three times in February 2017, according to court records.An indictment filed in March 2017 accused Wells of kidnapping a woman, threatening to shoot her, holding a knife to a throat and sexually assaulting her several times with the barrel of a gun and a paper towel holder.The court sentenced him to 18 years for the first sexual assault count, 10 years for the second and five years for the third.Wells had previously served time in Tarrant County for assault causing bodily injury and driving while intoxicated.  Continue reading...
