Fort Worth Man Charged With Murder of 28-year-old Man

A Fort Worth man was jailed Tuesday morning in the slaying of a 18-year-old last week.Avery Levar Colton, 27, was charged with murder.Police say Colton fatally shot Tony Marchelle Austin of Livingston at an auto supply shop around 12:30 p.m. May 21.No other injuries were reported after the shooting at Ace Auto Repair & Tire in the 1330 block of East Berry Street, near Riverside Drive.Austin, 28, was shot in the head and died at a hospital, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.Police declined to provide any other details.  Continue reading...
