Fort Worth Firefighters Rescue 39-year-old Woman Trapped Upstairs by Kitchen Fire

A 39-year-old woman who was trapped upstairs in her home was rescued by Fort Worth firefighters after a fire broke out Thursday morning.The fire started around 9 a.m. in the kitchen of a home in the 9200 block of Silver Dollar Drive in the northwest part of the city. The home quickly filled with smoke, trapping the woman upstairs, fire officials said.The woman, whose condition is unknown, was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment.  Continue reading...
