A Fort Worth businesswoman who was allegedly shot to death by her boyfriend last month was discovered in her bed, covered in blood, by her young son and her maid, according to an arrest affidavit.Police say Nicole Blahitka, the well-known owner of Lon Smith Roofing, died after she was shot once in the shoulder and once in the head by Joshua Henry, a 29-year-old Joshua man, on Dec. 29 in the bedroom of her $1.4 million home in the 3600 block of Middlewood Drive.Henry allegedly confessed to the slaying Monday and was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail, where he remains with bail set at $250,000.According to his arrest affidavit, Henry and Blahitka, 49, had a year-long "volatile" affair, according to police. Blahitka was divorced from her husband after their affair began.According to the affidavit, Henry arrived at Blahitka's house around 9:50 p.m. During an interview with police, Henry said he and Blahitka got into an argument that night.
