Former Texas Prison Guard Paid Woman $15 to Watch Her Perform Sex Act on Her Infant Son

A Conroe man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for soliciting a mother to perform a sexual act on her child.Phillip Wayne Rickard, 51, pleaded guilty to paying an Indiana mom $15 through PayPal to watch her perform oral sex on her 2-month-old son via Skype, according to KHOU-TV. Investigators said Rickard, who is a former prison guard for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a former detention officer for the Montgomery County Jail, also paid other women to perform sexual acts. The Montgomery County District Attorney said Rickard was arrested in 2016 after an investigation in Texas and Indiana. "Phillip Rickard is a sick man who deserves every year of this sentence. This was one of the worst cases I have seen in my career in law enforcement. What he did was beyond comprehension," said Nikki Neeley, the lead investigator on the case.According to the Laredo Morning Times, the woman Rickard paid was sentenced to 42 years in prison in Indiana for the act on her 2-month-old as well as another molestation of a 5-year-old.
