Former Texas Elementary Teacher Gets 60 Years in Prison for Bevy of Child Porn Charges

A former elementary school teacher in Central Texas was sentenced Tuesday to 60 years in prison on numerous child-porn charges.Jeremy Luke Adler, 38, was convicted of 12 counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of promotion of child pornography, KCEN-TV reported.Adler, who was a fourth-grade teacher at Cedar Ridge Elementary School in Waco, had remained in the McLennan County jail since his arrest in January 2018.Authorities began investigating after receiving a tip from Google about the upload of two pornographic images of a prepubescent girl. Officials with the Texas attorney general's office determined that the computer from which they were uploaded was linked to Adler and his home in Woodway, according to a search-warrant affidavit.  Continue reading...
