Anger over a Ranger fan's conduct at an earlier game continued to sting as Cleveland fans pounded down cups of ten cent beer. The bad blood and booze made for an explosive combination and a riot broke out in the ninth inning.Because of this, Cleveland was forced to forfeit the game to Texas and the fate of ten cent beer night was brought into question.
