Flashback: A Look Back at The Dallas Morning News' Pulitzer-winning Journalism

In August of 1903, Joseph Pulitzer offered Columbia University $2 million dollars to found the world's first school of Journalism and award prizes in journalism. Although it took years of negotiations to open the school and establish the award, The Pulitzer Prize quickly became the most prestigious journalism award in the United States. The Dallas Morning News has received this honor on 9 separate occasions.
