Fire Crews Battling Blaze at Northeast Dallas Apartment Complex

Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were battling a fire at an apartment complex in northeast Dallas early Monday morning. The fire was reported just before 5:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Holly Hill Lane, near Greenville Avenue and Walnut Hill Lane. 911 callers said flames were shooting through the roof of an apartment building, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said. Live video at the scene from KXAS-TV (NBC 5) showed clouds of smoke and a large emergency response.
