We've got good news and bad news. The good news: Fall weather is almost here. A cold front will move into the Dallas area around rush hour Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.The bad news: It won't last.Expect a noticeable drop in temperature around 6 or 7 p.m. Monday, said meteorologist Lamont Bain with the National Weather Service. That'll be a welcome respite from record-breaking heat -- a high of 96 degrees logged at DFW International Airport. The last time it was nearly that hot on this date was in 1963, when the temperature climbed to 95 degrees.
