Explosion at FedEx Facility Near San Antonio Possibly Linked to Austin Blasts

No one was injured when a package destined for Austin exploded in a FedEx warehouse near San Antonio early Tuesday in what could be the latest incident connected to a string of bombings in the capital city.The package exploded on a conveyor belt around 12:25 a.m. at a FedEx facility in Schertz, about 25 miles northeast of San Antonio.Shrapnel consisting of nails and pieces of metal were inside the package, according to KEYE-TV in Austin. An employee standing near it reported having a headache, but otherwise none of the 75 employees at the facility were hurt.The FBI and ATF are at the scene, along with along with SWAT teams, bomb squads and the Schertz Police Department, KENS-TV in San Antonio reported.
