Rain is expected to move into the Dallas-Fort Worth area early Friday morning and stick around for most of the day.“It looks to be steady and persistent, especially Friday afternoon into Friday evening,” KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Grant Johnston said.Jason Godwin, a National Weather Service meteorologist, said he expects rain to be widespread throughout the day.“Once it starts in the morning — likely before daybreak — it’ll pretty much rain all day,” he said.The rain will cause roads to be wet road during the morning and evening rush hours, but Godwin said the weather service is not currently planning to issue any flood watches.
