El Paso Man Says He ‘just Wanted to Help the Little Girl' He Was Selling for Sex

A 29-year-old El Paso man was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in federal prison for running a sex trafficking operation that included a minor girl and two other females. David Milner admitted that for almost two years, from September 2013 to August 2015, he coerced, enticed and recruited women, including a 16 year old, to engage in commercial sex acts to make him money, according to a statement from the Western District of Texas Department of Justice.About the teenage victim, Milner said he “just wanted to help the little girl.” Another victim made a statement at the hearing saying she had “been scarred forever.”Milner admitted he advertised the minor and two other females for commercial sex on Backpage.com, a Dallas-based website.
