Educator, Trailblazer Ruth Simmons to Visit Dallas for Prairie View-Grambling Game

Prairie View A&M University Dallas Chapter alumni are excited that the school's interim president, Dr. Ruth Simmons, will visit Dallas this weekend for the popular annual football game between Prairie View and Grambling State University.The Prairie View Panthers and Grambling Tigers square off at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Southwest Airlines State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl. Many pregame and postgame activities will keep alumni of both universities busy throughout the weekend.Add to the activities a welcome reception for Simmons from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel, 300 Reunion Blvd. Admission is $10 and tickets are available at www.pvamu.edu.  Continue reading...
