Driver Who Killed Pedestrian in Central Oak Cliff Didn't Stop to Help, Police Say

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Monday in central Oak Cliff, police said. The incident happened at some point between 12 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Marvin D. Love Freeway. The driver of the vehicle struck the pedestrian on the shoulder of the road and failed to stop and render aid, police said. A clear vehicle description is not available, however, it will have right front end and right side damage, and will also be missing the right front headline and passenger mirror. Evidence at the scene points to the vehicle being a Chrysler, police said. No information about the driver is available.
