Driver Killed After Gun Goes Off in Car in Red Bird

A man was killed after a gun was discharged in a car that wound up in a homeowner's yard Wednesday morning.It happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Brook Valley Lane in Red Bird when a Chevrolet Impala with three occupants crashed into the yard after its driver had been shot.The driver was taken to an area hospital where he died later. The circumstances of how the gun was fired are unclear.Two passengers, an adult man and a juvenile, are accounted for by police.No other information is available.  Continue reading...
