Driver Flees Traffic Stop in Ellis County, Leads Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie Police on Chase Into Farmers Branch

One man was under arrest after leading several police departments on a chase Wednesday morning that stretched more than 40 miles from Waxahachie to Farmers Branch.It began around 2:50 a.m. with a traffic stop in Ellis County that led to a chase enjoined by Cedar Hill police, who, along with Grand Prairie police, followed the car into Farmers Branch.The chase ended at the intersection of Valley View Lane and Mercer Parkway in Farmers Branch after Grand Prairie officers laid down road spikes, and the suspect was arrested after a short standoff, police said.Farmers Branch police also assisted.No one was injured in the chase.
