A driver crashed into a utility pole after fleeing police and leading them on a short chase in Grand Prairie on Tuesday morning.It happened around 4 a.m. in the 1000 block of MacArthur Boulevard near Interstate 30 when police tried to make a traffic stop. The driver took off into a residential neighborhood and hit a light pole, Grand Prairie police said.The unhurt driver was arrested, police said, and the crash did cause a power outage in the immediate area.
