Driver at Large After Leading Police on High-speed Chase Across Tarrant County

A driver remained at large early Monday after leading North Richland Hills police on a chase reaching over 100 mph through Tarrant County.Haltom City police started the chase about 4 a.m. on North Beach Street, though it's unclear why they wanted to pull the driver over. North Richland Hills police became involved when the car got on Loop 820, setting up spike strips to help stop it.But that didn't do much, and the driver continued on to State Highway 183.The chase ended on Precinct Line Road behind an Outback Steakhouse when the driver abandoned the car and fled.
