Downtown Dallas Robber Separated Scooter Rider From Friends Before Shooting Him

An unexplained shooting early Friday in downtown Dallas left a scooter rider injured, officials said, while the suspect remains at large.The incident took place about 1:45 a.m. on Park Avenue, KDFW-TV (FOX 4) reported. A group of people were riding motorized scooters when a man stopped one of them and asked for a light.After the rest of the group separated from that rider, the man pulled out a gun and attempted to rob the person, FOX 4 reported. The suspect then shot the rider in the leg and fled.Medics took the victim to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
