Don’t Just Blame Humidity for Why It Feels So Sticky in Dallas-Fort Worth This Week

The mugginess in Dallas-Fort Worth this week has been hard to ignore.An area of high pressure over the southeastern U.S. has helped bring warm, humid air to North Texas, according to Lamont Bain, a National Weather Service meteorologist. And the stuffy conditions are not expected to abate at least through the weekend.“We’ll be trending warmer with more humidity,” KXAS-TV (NBC5) weather anchor Keisha Burns said. “You’re going to feel it when you step outside. ...
