Dog About Town: Showing Off Your Tricks and More Things to Do

Expect to see even more tricks than usual at the 24th annual Dog Days celebration in Denton, which has the theme "It's Doggone Magic." This year's festivities include the ever-popular Glamfur Shots, a canine couture show, agility and lure courses and contests (costume, dancing, tricks, singing and more). They'll also have live entertainment, vendors, demos, adoptions and festival foods. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the North Texas Fairgrounds, 2217 N.
