Dog About Town: Playdates, Yappy Hours and More Things to Do

Puppies in the Park, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, will kick off the new partnership between fashion designer Todd Oldham's Kid Made Modern and Dallas-based Forty Five Ten.The pooch-friendly festivities will be in the park containing the eyeball sculpture next to the store, with part of the day's sales going to the SPCA of Texas and DFW Rescue Me. Both will be there with adoptable little ones.Along with checking out Kid Made Modern's new U.S.-made clothing line for kids -- which includes Dallas-skyline dresses, T-shirts and leggings -- attendees can participate in arts and crafts, with Oldham assisting.
